An independent-minded daughter Green (Lim Se-mi) moves back into the family home with her long-term girlfriend Rain (Ha Yoon-Kyung), bewildering her mother (Oh Min-ae), who works as a carer for a lonely elderly woman Je-hee (Heo Jin). 

Lee Mi-rang’s adaptation of Kim Hye-jin’s 2017 novel Concerning My Daughter, which was published in English in 2022, explores intergenerational struggles and reconfigures conventional notions of family. It offers a poignant exploration of family and companionship, quietly calling for tolerance, solidarity and love.
